The room was packed for yesterday’s Public Debate on the resolution, “Is Bernie Sanders’ Democratic Socialism a realistic solution to America’s problems?” Both the aff and the neg put up a good fight, but ultimately the judges voted for the affirmative. Cheers to the Intramural Team for always tackling the big issues.

The University of Florida’s Intramural Debate Team had a great debate on “Is Illegal Immigration an Economic Burden to the United States?” This was a Lincoln-Douglas style debate with Christina representing the affirmative and Unaiza representing the negative. The Judges ended up voting for the negative in a 5-0 vote.
